Our Story Begins In 2023

In the spring of 2023, we opened our doors as a panini shop, breaking the mold of what a “sandwich shop” was seen as in the historic downtown Wildwood, New Jersey. Customers flocked to enjoy our mouth watering sandwiches, including our breakfast paninis, our California panini, our chicken paninis, and most especially our fan favorite cheesesteak panini.

After a successful first season, owner Shawn McGuigan, knew there was still something missing.  After much reflection, Shawn was reminded about how much everyone loved our cheesesteak paninis. So Shawn expanded the menu to include a wide range of cheesesteaks and changed the name of our sandwich shop to Shawn’s Cheesesteaks and Paninis!
